Released in 1996, Celebrating Seventh and Nineth Fays on The Symbols is a four disc set with Page and Plant’s two Osaka shows. Following seven nights in Tokyo and with Nagoya between them, these are the first and only Page and Plant shows in the city in 22 years. When Led Zeppelin visited Japan for two tours in the 70’s, both musicians were remarkable for the looseness they were able to achieve in Osaka. In 1972 and 1972, they played rarely played songs and jammed, stretching out the shows into 3 hour marathons.
This is a rate meeting if experience, talent and risk to develop music that is the best of Plant and Page. Another rare OOP jewel that my brother whose whole lifetime was to collect music is now available for public consumption once again.
