The Smiths - This Charming Man c/w Jeane

Very Rare Export solid centre 7" (with later 'Rubber Stamp' Rough Trade Logo) in ORIGINAL FIRST ISSUE PICTURE SLEEVE with Glad Hips credit/Manchester Address printed on rear. Pressed for sale outside of the UK. Note Label Area is raised, is a thicker/heavier pressing than regular UK pressings, and also the slightly shorter (Stamped) Matrices than regular UK pressings: RT 136 A-3U-1- & RT 136 B-1U-1- (As seen on earlier Irish pressings).

Note that I haven't had this confirmed as an Export pressing, but believe it to be so, going on the various evidence, though not sure how the original sleeve ended up on such a (presumably) late pressing. My best guess is that Rough Trade Records had a stock of the original sleeves unused, and decided to use them on this run.

• DISC CONDITION - Excellent Condition, with a beautiful Shine - Near Mint!

• SLEEVE CONDITION - Again, Excellent (Nr Mint) - hardly any evidence of use at all!

A FANTASTIC virtually mint condition example of this extremely rare pressing!
