A very scarce original promotional press kit for the 1983 Buddy Holly Week, in Lubbock, Texas organised by Paul McCartney. The MPL event took place from 1st – 7th September 1983 and celebrated the life and career of Buddy Holly.

The press kit consists of a 12 page magazine about Buddy’s life and the formation of Buddy Holly Week, a folded promotional poster for the 1983 event, a 20 page booklet of information about the events of the week etc,
a Buddy Holly Week T shirt size small in unopened bag, 1 sticker, 1 pin badge, 3 black and white photographs, 2 printed messages from Paul McCartney, and a 7" EP promo special edition record in its sleeve.

CONDITION

All items are in very good clean condition with no faults (including the record) and are contained a in their original gatefold sleeve which has very slight wear to spine edge. The sleeve measures 12 by 8¾ inches.
