AS WE SELL MOSTLY BOOKS WE USE MEDIA MAIL this is a cheap, viable option for shipping However, because it is cheap, it is slower than other choices. Packages shipped via Media Mail are trucked overland (no air), so you can generally estimate how long it will take for a package to reach you based on how far you are from me (NEW JERSEY). Based on customer response, it seems as if destinations along the East Coast take a week. West Coast destinations take approximately 14 days. Hawaii and Alaska take a minimum of 1 month. Times may also increase if there is bad weather along the route, especially during the winter. Remember, there are no guarantees on delivery time. Occasionally things get lost. If you need something in a timely manner, please use Priority. , please ask us for the cost PRIOR TO BIDDING. TRACKING and INSURANCE IS INCLUSIVE WITH USPS PRIORITY MAIL. WE USE PRIORITY MAIL FOR SMALL FRAGILE ITEMS. FOR the LARGER FRAGILE ITEMS WE USE PARCEL POST because we double box and pack well.. takes a little longer, but there will be significant savings in shipping cost to you..
Insurance claims for damaged or lost shipments are filed by the buyer, not the seller. Insurance claims and postage claims can be filed or in person at your local post office. Please keep original packaging, which includes the Tracking Number and Insured Label, which you will need.
