NM/N- a virtually unmarked disc, that has had careful and infrequent usage.

N- A clean sounding record, with minimal paper marks, fingernail marks, and slight

surface smudges from usage that are light, superficial and inaudible.

EX+- A record that has been played quite a few times, with sufficient care to ensure continued musical enjoyment.

A tick or a pop, even a few repeated seconds of surface noise can occur at this grade level.

The slight and occasional interruptions in microgroove continuity are far outweighed by the musical enjoyment offered to the listener.

EX- A record still excellent sonically, with no shearing or clipped tones, that plays to a high level of listener enjoyability.
