78 rpm: Elvis Presley 78 SUN 223 Mystery Train / I Forgot To Remember To Forget VG+

This auction is for an ORIGINAL Elvis Presley Sun 78, SUN 223, of " Mystery Train b/w I Forgot To Remember To Forget. Trail off vinyl on the I Forgot side has SUN U-157, 20, and another set of letterring shown in pics. The Mystery Train side has SUN U-156 and the same other lettering. The vinyl has only had very light play and only ONE noticeable scratch towards through trail off on the I Forgot side, a few minor light scuffs that do not affect the playback and very light back ground noise at all when played on my 78 Victrola. Sounds really good ! It does have a small area on the I Forgot side label where some of the label has torn off probably from being stacked and dropped on an old 50's record player. Overall I'd give it a VG+ OR at least a 7.8-8.3 on a 1 to 10 scale. Will frame NICELY on the Mystery Train side. And, as most collectors know, 78's are far more RARE than their 45 counterparts due to their FRAGILE nature an only about 1 of the 78's out of every 100 of the 45's have survived since 1955. Making them far more RARE and needless yo say, they DISPLAY BETTER than their 45 counterparts do. Shipping is via USPS Priority Mail with insurance and payment is by PayPal.
