Returns/Complaints
- We want you to love your purchase but if for any reason there is a problem, we can work together to resolve it. We are human and do make mistakes - please do not assume any mistakes we make are intentional!
- If a return is necessary we will refund your payment in full as long as the item(s) are returned to us within 14 days in the same condition as received. Buyers are required to pay the cost of returning items for remorse buys including items which did not meet your expectations. We will refund for the return of items up to the value of 2nd class ordinary post for faulty or not as described returns.
- To clarify "not as described" means you received the wrong title or version to the one described. Gradings are subjective and opinions differ and therefore do not fall under "not as described".
- Neutral/Negative feedback should only be left as a last resort. We strive for positive feedback and harmonious relations. If you do have any concerns, please send us an email and give us the opportunity to resolve any issues before you leave feedback. Most problems can be resolved quickly and easily with only one email.
CD/DVD, Cassette & Insert Gradings:
This is a visual grading system. CD/DVD discs are viewed under both daylight and under a halogen light by 1 person to maintain consistency. While most of our customers agree with our grades, we realise it is a subjective issue and opinions differ. If you are unhappy with the condition of any item you simply return it (at your cost) within 14 days of receipt and we guarantee to refund the full amount of the original purchase price and the initial shipping charge.
Mint (M)Absolutely perfect in every way. Never been played.
Near Mint (NM)
A nearly perfect item which shows no obvious signs of wear. Insert will have no more than the most minor defects and show signs of slight handling.
Very Good Plus (VG+)
Will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. CD/DVD disc surface may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect play. The insert may have some wear, lightly turned up corners, or a slight seam split. All but the most mint-crazy collectors will find a VG+ item highly acceptable.
Very Good (VG)
Many of the defects found in a VG+ item will be more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. Inserts may have creases, tears, seam splits and may be marred by writing and or sticker damage.
Good Plus (G+)
Will play through without skipping, but will have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear. Inserts may be torn, marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm it. If it's a common item, you'll probably find another copy in better shape eventually. Pass it up, but if it's something you have been seeking for years and the price is right, get it.... but keep looking to upgrade. Please be warned that if you buy an item in this condition it is going to be a risk. Some will play better than they look whilst others may play worse than you expect.
Good (G)
It's possible that the item wont play through without skipping or repeating. Will have been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated. Will have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear. May crackle, pop or make other annoying sounds. Inserts may be torn, water damaged, marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached or have other defects which will start to overwhelm it. If it's a common item, you'll probably find another copy in better shape eventually. Pass it up, but if it's something you have been seeking for years and the price is right, get it.... but keep looking to upgrade. Please be warned that if you buy an item in this condition it is going to be a risk. Some will play better than they look whilst others may play worse than you expect.
Poor (P) or Fair (F)
May be cracked, warped and won't play through without skipping or repeating. Insert may be water damaged, heavily marred by wear and writing. Unless the item is very rare you should pass it up. This is a collection filler only. Do not buy it to play it!
