I will be putting a lot of my personal collection on auction over the next week or so. Please keep checking back. Most starting prices will be $.99 and all will have great shipping discounts within US...and I will work with you on international shipping. I will only charge for the weight plus maybe a buck for handling for international orders (outside of US).

I grade conservatively and pack well. I use the LP mailer. The vinyl will be outside of the cover during shipping so as not to cause damage to the cover in transit. I use Goldmine grading standards and these records have all been visually graded and sometimes play-graded (where noted).

I am awaiting a new record cleaning system. Any record that I have played will have been cleaned by me before playing. I will not be doing any playgrades this time around as I do not have a cleaning system right now. I will note any extra dust/fingerprints...anything that can be easily fixed with a cleaning. I assume you have a cleaning system and can clean up any dust or minor issues.

Shipping discounts for multiple items. ///

ARTIST/ALBUM: Beastie Boys, Licensed to Ill. Promo stamp on back cover over barcode. Spine reads FC40238. On the record both sides read C 40238. I will let the experts decide if the record itself is any different as far as being promo or whatever. Cover does have stamp though.
LABEL: Def Jam.
VINYL Visual Grade under bright light: VG+. This one needs some cleaning mainly for fingerprint smudges. Should clean up very nicely. I did play one side the other day and heard no skips. VG+ was what I heard. Possibly a slightly weak VG+ if memory serves. I was enjoying some beers at the time. Sounded great to me. :)
COVER
: Has original inner sleeves but it has splits on all sides and a couple small tears. Looks decent overall. Cover: Some ringwear. Has a small old price sticker on front. See pic. Gatefold. Main spine looks good. No seam splits.

Grading scale:

SEALED: Just that. I will say if cover has any markings or ringwear, etc., but assume a sealed record will play AS NEW.

NM: Shiny. No visible defects. Nearly perfect. Clean label. Looks like it was just opened fresh from the record store when bought new. Plays as if bought new.

VG+/E (E being the high end, more like a NM-): As goldmine says, "except for a couple of minor things, this would be near mint". Light signs of wear, including light scuffs or scratches that do no affect the listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the listening experience are also o.k. (this is straight from Goldmine). Minor signs of handling ok, such as marks around center hole, but not misshapen the hole from repeated playing. If playgrade, very occasional minor surface noise that does not effect play. No loud pops or hisses, to be sure. Again, "except for a few minor things..." Cover can have very minor seam wear or split (less than one inch) at the bottom. Possible defacing, like a cut-out marking.

VG: Lack most of original gloss. Groove wear can be seen. Light scratches deep enough to feel with fingernail. Surface noise and some scratches may be audible such as in soft parts. Noise will not overpower music. Small amount of writing, tape or sticker on label. Covers will have wear such as ringwear (not overwhelming, though). Seam splitting more obvious, such as on all three sides, but won't see it right away when looking for first time. Price tag or writing on cover or back.

G: I will not sell a G or less record unless it is very rare and I will do a full write-up on it, if so. I will sell G covers and I will explain why I give it a G per each auction

Professionally packaged in LP cardboard packages.

PAYPAL ONLY.

I ship worldwide. Out of the U.S. I ship USPS international and charge $1 for handling, Unless your entire order is over 4 pounds. If this occurs, I will not be able to use USPS international male, and the total for shipping will get very pricey.
