On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Simon & Garkfunkel called "Parsley, Sage, Rosemary & Thyme" and is an ORIGINAL 1966 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press 'Textured' CBS label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS IS ONE OF SIMON & GARFUNKEL'S RAREST LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!! BACK IN 1967 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED IN THE UK - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS!!!! AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE, AND IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!! HOWEVER, THERE ARE 2 LITTLE KNOWN FACTS ABOUT THIS LP - THAT ARE VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE!!!! FIRSTLY, IN THE UK THIS LP WAS NEVER EVER RELEASED IN 1966!!!! THE CBS UK CAT. NUMBER TELLS YOU THAT STRAIGHT AWAY - AS IT IS FAR TOO LATE FOR 1966!!!! AND WHILST IN THE U.S.A. IT WAS OF COURSE RELEASED IN 1966 - HERE IN THE UK IT WASNT RELEASED UNTIL EARLY 1967. OF COURSE THE LABELS ALWAYS GIVE THE DATE OF 'FIRST RELEASE' - BUT THIS WAS IN 1966, IN THE U.S.A. ONLY!!!! THE SECOND POINT - IS THAT THIS LP COMPLETELY FLOPPED ON RELEASE IN THE UK, AND NEVER MADE THE CHARTS AT ALL!!!! IN FACT, IT DIDNT HIT THE UK CHARTS UNTIL MUCH LATER ON (IN 1968!) - BUT BY THEN, THE FLIPBACK COVER HAD BEEN DROPPED, THE LABELS WERE SMOOTH, AND MATRIX NUMBERS ON THE VINYL HAD RISEN SHARPLY!!!! HOWEVER - THIS ONE IS EXTREMELY RARE INDEED, AS IT IS THE 'EARLIEST' UK 1967 1ST PRESSING - WITH 'TEXTURED' LABELS, A FLIPBACK LAMINATED COVER AND A1/B1 MATRIX ENDINGS - AND IS NOW VERY VERY HARD TO FIND INDEED (ESPECIALLY LIKE THIS!)!!!!

THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1967 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS 'TEXTURED' CBS LABEL, 1ST PRESS A1/B1 MATRIXES, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'DAWSON ROSSITER' FLIPBACK LAMINATED COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL CBS UK 1st Pressing from 1967 and is in SUPERB condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is BPG 62860 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Textured' CBS label (see picture) and is a much MUCH rarer UK Stereo 1st Pressing!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few VERY light spindle marks!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!! The vinyl is in absolutely SUPERB condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, only 1 VERY light TINY scuffline, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS SUPERB!!!! It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!! The record must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!! SUPERB RECORD!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!! The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Dawson Rossiter' Flipback Laminated Cover is in absolutely SUPERB condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), only a VERY few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), STUNNING shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!! Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in SUPERB condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, NO ringwear, NO rubbing, and NO writing!!!! The cover must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!! SUPERB COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
