The road you travel is the same road we travel, because we are making the same journey. This is the same journey that Jesus made. He prepared the way for all of us. Whereupon the Cross we find Jesus asking the same question, “My God, My God, Why hast thou forsaken me”? God did not come down and remove Jesus from the Cross, but through utter darkness He let His Son know that He was near. While the earth is dark you, too, can know that God is ever near you, even within your own heart.

What more comfort then could Jesus offer His children than these words, “Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
