ORIGINAL 1967 ELEKTRA ORANGE LABEL FIRST UK MONO PRESSING WITH MATT SLEEVE AND GENERIC INNER IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH VERY GOOD SLEEVE. PLAYS THROUGH WITH MOSTLY EXCELLENT AUDIO WITH NO STICKS OR SKIPS BUT THERE IS A LOUD POP ON THE THE END. THIS IS A TRUE FIRST PRESSING WHICH HAS NO POLYDOR LISTED ANYWHERE ON THE LABELS OR SLEEVE

Released in 1967 on the orange ELEKTRA label, I am offering here this TRUE first UK MONO pressing of this classic debut album from THE DOORS which is simply titled "THE DOORS". The album includes some great tracks including BREAK ON THROUGH, ALABAMA SONG, THE CRYSTAL SHIP, LIGHT MY FIRE, BACK DOOR MAN, TAKE IT AS IT COMES THE END etc. The vinyl is in very good condition with clean first issue labels which have NO POLYDOR credits. The Vinyl shows some light scuffs and plays through with mostly excellent audio but there was a loud pop on the track THE END. So hard to find as a true first issue.

This comes with its original matt single sleeve which has NO POLYDOR credit. These sleeves where not used for long before being replaced with laminated Polydor credit ones. This is quite clean with no splits or stickers but shows some general wear.

This comes complete with its original generic inner which is somewhat creased.

I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me.
