I received a box of reel-to-reel tapes from a friend. Although I haven't tested these particular tapes, I tested several random ones from the batch and they all played fine. So I'm guessing these are fine also, but no guarantees.
Apparently the original owner liked to splice multiple albums by the same artist onto the same tape. Maybe they didn't like to change tapes? The labels on the reels probably indicate the actual contents.
