Checkout/Payment: You’re kindly asked not to rush onto the PayPal “Pay Now” button (especially when you’re winning more than one item) but wait for our invoice instead. We will invoice all winners at the end of each auction with the correct combined P&P cost. It’s in your own interest to follow this guideline please (it only requires little patience) because will not process any PayPal refunds except for exceptional circumstances

About us: Our descriptions are economic in their wording & limited to the essentials. We hardly use phrasing such as “awesome” coupled with thousands of exclamation marks as a matter of self-respect. Please rely on our feedback for a proper grading & don’t hesitate to email any questions you may have

Jamaican Pressings: It’s well known that Jamaican pressings are notoriously noisy & of poor quality and we don’t think the RC grading system can accurately reflect their level of use as practically all Mint records will fall into a VG or G category. We will therefore grade on the appearance and add an “in parenthesis” comment for the audio impression. Also quite often it’s hard to distinguish original issues from re-issues & in this respect photos of the cover+labels will be included for you to make up your own mind

General details : Rare late 70’s? JAMAICA reissue LP on STUDIO ONE (Side A: SOL 1130 A / Side B: SOL 1130 B etched matrix numbers, heavyweight vinyl & Original ‘blue ribbon’ labels; see photos), with an Adprographics Ltd. thick cardboard picture sleeve & the original plain inner, in a very nice condition

Grading
For grading purposes I use the British Record Collector's grading scale with very occasionally (+) or (-) signs to denote the in-between conditions.

Generally speaking:
MINT (M) a sealed record
NEAR MINT (NM) ultra shiny and clean but opened. No marks
EX+: practically NM, but for maybe 1 very, very light, non-sounding wispy sleeve mark seen under bright light
EX: couple very light, non-sounding wispy sleeve marks seen under bright light
VG++: few more light marks without any significant audio impact
VG+ : still shiny w/ few more light marks; maybe the odd pop during play but nothing unpleasant
VG: more of the above; still a very decent audio. For lesser grades refer to my item description

Same logic applies to the cover's grade.

Payment
PAYPAL (invoice currency), UK Personal or Postal cheques & IMOs in £, are all accepted and goods shall be dispatched promptly at no extra charge

Packing
All records are securely packed & shipped in protective plastic sleeves out of their jackets & inners, to avoid seam splits in transit (no cost or time spared)
