From my own collection, bought on release this is a fine example for its age, its been kept in a record case for years and has not seen the day of light for at least 30 yrs. I cleaned it and played it today, great sound and production.
Recorded at Olympic studios in London and Produced and mixed by Martin RUSHENT.
Released on Virgin through united Artist. The label codes and the Dead wax codes match UAG 30197.
There is a Dead wax message which READS A SPIKE SPECTACULAR.
I am struggling to find a answer to this one, I don't think Martin Rushent used spike as a tag.
It was recorded at Olympic, not spike and Mark Spike Stent would have only been about 13 or 14 then.
If anyone knows I would like to know.
All my records have been bought by and kept me or my brother.
I am always objective about the condition, I like to be confident people knowing exactly what they are buying.
I believe this is a first press.
