Vinyl VG+
Jacket VG+
Westbound Records W-218 gatefold jacket
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Grading system.
M (mint) -- Like new. I won't grade anything M.
NM (near mint) -- Record played at most a few times. Vinyl shows very little or no marking. Nearly perfect, still very shiny with at most some sleeve scuffing seen even on new records. Jacket looks almost new, at most a few minor wear marks. (I rarely rate a jacket NM).
EX (excellent) -- Record played little. There may be minor light marking in the vinyl. Jacket shows very little wear for its age but has lost most of its new look.
VG+ (very good plus) -- Record has been played more than just a few times but well cared for. Some marks, scuffs, and light scratches on the vinyl, but not many and not significant. Jacket shows less than normal wear for its age -- ring wear, possibly minor splitting, some minor edge tearing, maybe some fading.
VG (very good) -- Record has been played many times but is still in very good condition overall -- not abused. More marks, scuffs and light scratches in the vinyl than VG+. Jacket shows more significant wear, fading, and edge tearing than VG+ grade.
G (good) - Only used for jacket grading. I won't list any vinyl I grade lower than VG. A "G" jacket still does its job of protecting the vinyl but has significant splitting, surface wear, edge wear, and/or other cosmetic defects.
See photo(s) to grade jackets yourself.
LPs will be shipped in boxes designed for that purpose.
