CD: Olivia Newton-John - Totally Hot - Mini LP - Limited SHM-CD OBI Bonus Tracks

This is the limited edition mini LP CD of Olivia Newton-John's album "Totally Hot" from 1978, released in Japan in 2010 on SHM-CD (Super High Material Compact Disc). Catalog number: UICY-94715 (UICX-1376).

This is one of the stand-alone releases celebrating her 40th anniversary as a recording artist. (There was also a 10-disc box set; this auction is ONLY for the one disc pictured here).

This particular release is now in very scarce supply, but highly collectible because of its superior remastered sound quality & its inclusion of the remastered live performance of “Love Is Alive” from her 1976 tour of Japan (only ever released on vinyl other than this release, on her Japanese LP “Love Performance”). It also includes the extended version of the song “Totally Hot.”

The CD grading is near mint (NM or M-) and the mini LP cardboard sleeve case, OBI, mini reproduction of the album’s inner picture sleeve, and the inlay with lyrics in both English and Japanese are all also in excellent condition.

The cellophane wrapping is flawed; please see photos. It’s torn along the top side of the front. I am including it because it contains the original gold SHM-CD sticker. The wrapper could easily be replaced, though. The contents of the disc, sleeve, inner sleeve, & lyrics sheet are all fantastic.
