Vinyl: RARE THE PLATTERS FEDERAL RECORDS 549 First Press! 1953

Hey there.

Here is a rare, hard to find, first pressing of THE PLATTERS…on FEDERAL RECORDS 549…1953.

Jacket shows water damage, and is split on three sides. Still intact…technically. Great color on the graphics. Backside is fairly strong. Cardboard scuffs can be found throughout.

Side one grades close to a VG/VG+.

The scratches are few and light throughout.

No play affected.

Side two grades close to a VG+.

Track one shows most superficial blemishes. Light in nature. Track 4 shows a mark as well.

Nothing that affects play.

This is a beautiful copy of a record that rarely comes to surface. 70 years old!
