Hello and welcome to my auction
This auction is for a pair of shoes used and signed by Michael Jackson in Mexico City in 1993.
Michael Jackson arrived in Mexico on October 24, 1993. The singer had five dates scheduled at the Azteca Stadium, which were distributed between October 29 and November 11.
The singer stayed for several days at the Presidente hotel, locked up with video games and children's movies. But in his spare time he took the opportunity to go for a walk and do some things. He first went shopping at the Polanco Pavilion, where he bought some records at the Mixup store.
Days later he went to ABC Hospital due to a toothache. On this visit, the singer asked the Mexican dentist Guillermo Huber to remove his tooth, and although he repeatedly told him that it was not necessary because he only had a cavity, Michael insisted that he do it or else he would be forced to cancel the three dates that he had already postponed in what is now called CDMX.
The King of Pop offered five concerts at the Azteca Stadium on October 29 and 30, later that of November 2 was rescheduled because the singer had a tooth removed, the remaining three were held on November 7, 9 and 11, 1993.
Thanks to my work we had the opportunity to obtain 2 totally free access passes sent by Michael Jackson to our department, my wife and I were able to attend the first of his 5 concerts dated October 29 and after the concert ended we were able to see personally in the Dressing rooms to Michael Jackson.
As you can see, the ticket was never cut by stadium security since they were courtesy passes and exempt from any filter, they were stamped on the back in order to have access to see michael jackson in the Dressing rooms.
As you can see in the ticket we could not enter with any camera so we do not have any photos of the moment we met Michael, when we saw him my wife hugged him and his emotion was so great that he asked Michael Jackson to give him his gift towel with which he was wiping the sweat, what Michael Jackson said to him was the following "I'll give you something better than a towel" so he took off the shoes he had on and signed them and gave them to my wife.
We have kept this pair of shoes for 25 years but it is time to let them go to a better new home.
The pair of shoes are sold together with the concert ticket.
If you have any offer to buy the shoes now, please send me a private message.
Good luck at the auction and merry Christmas
The shoes do not have any number printed inside, but comparing with a Mexican shoes number it is 27.5 and that in American number it would be 9.5.
If the buyer requests it, a letter of origin could be included telling the story of how the shoes were obtained written and signed in Spanish, since my English is not perfect.

I worked in 1993 for a Mexican TV station called "televisa" that is why several of our work team had the opportunity to meet Michael Jackson before and after the first concert, I keep and have my wife's ticket and mine in excellent conditions, they were never broken or separated by security since they were exclusive and exempt tickets that Michael Jackson himself had sent as a gift to the television station in charge of transmitting part of the concert live for a few minutes, this happened only in the first concert.
