Poster: 1977 Pink Floyd “Animals” Poster Signatures Read Description No COA
Not authenticated.
📌 Description:
Original 1977 promotional poster for Pink Floyd’s Animals album, featuring the iconic Battersea Power Station with the floating pig. The top caption reads:
“Pigs, dogs and sheep, in the air, everywhere.”
Published for Columbia Records and dated June 23–29, 1977.
This piece contains multiple pink ink signatures that appear to be hand-signed — potentially by members of Pink Floyd — though the signatures are unauthenticated and the item is sold as-is with no guarantee of legitimacy.
Why it appears to be hand-signed:
• Pink ink has visible pressure and flow variation, suggesting it was done by hand.
• No signs of pixelation or print overlay where the ink appears.
• The piece shows appropriate age and wear consistent with materials from the 1970s.
🔍 Found in a Cleveland, Ohio storage unit purchased at auction, which contained vintage memorabilia connected to WMMS Radio Station and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
📎 On the back of the frame was an original concert advertisement for the same Pink Floyd show in Cleveland, further suggesting this item may have a direct tie to that event.
🖼️ Ships in the original vintage black frame, as shown.
