78 rpm: Elvis Presley Sun #210 “GOOD ROCKIN’ TONIGHT” 78 rpm! Beautiful!

If you are looking at this Sun 78, I do not have to explain much. The 78 was kept in my father’s private Sun collection that will all be listed in the coming weeks. The shellac is in VG+ visual condition yet play tested like a VG+ record. I’ve taken pictures at every angle so the imperfections are seen. There are some scuffs on the record yet even the largest scuff (1.5” into grooves at the 6 o’clock position on the b-side) is inaudible on my turntable (with a 78 specific stylus). It plays all the way through on both sides with only the Sun shellac hiss in between songs. There are no clicks and obviously no skips. I don’t usually post this way but this is an original Elvis Presley record produced by Sam Phillips in the original Sun studio. There are very few left for sale and even less that play and sound this good. I’ll be posting more rare 78’s of all kinds well into the new year. Labels such as Checker, Chess, King, Meteor and Modern to name a few. Thanks for looking.

NM : Near perfect, no visible signs of handling. Highly desirable and very hard to find.

M- : A visual imperfection very, very and inaudible. Plays and looks near new, extremely desirable condition.

VG+ May have a couple inaudible scuffs or mild ring wear. No scratches, plays well without skips. A collector record.

VG+ : The record will display some sleeve scuffing and/or an imperfection and/or slight DNAP. Plays very well without out of ordinary noise and definitely no skips. A collectible record.

VG : Scuffs all around and or label wear and/or possible tear. Possible scratch and/or DNAP around but plays well all the way through w/o skips. Good player record.

VG- : A few marks of which can be felt by touch and/or heavy DNAP and/or heavy label wear, hiss and pops but still plays w/o skips!
