A 4CD + Blu-ray deluxe edition commemorating the 40th anniversary of the release of Def Leppard's masterpiece, ‘Target of the Flame’.

This deluxe edition was executive produced by lead singers Joe Elliott and Ronan McHugh and mastered by Andy Pearce.

In addition to the original full-length album, the 4CD set includes one disc of previously unreleased demo material (including the previously unreleased demo of ‘No You Can't Do That’), which has been unearthed from Joe Elliott's archive of tapes, and important live material from the era. -The Blu-ray also includes two live recordings - one at the LA Forum (USA) and one at the Westfalenhalle in Dortmund (Germany).

The Blu-ray also includes an Atmos mix of the album (supervised by Giles Martin), a 5.1 surround mix, a new stereo mix and an instrumental mix. In addition, five promotional videos produced at the time are also included.

The booklet includes a fascinating story about the making of the album written by Paul Elliott, writer for Mojo and Classic Rock magazines (for which he also conducted new interviews with the band members), and a number of rare photographs (including some never before published) by famous photographers such as Ross Halfin, who has been associated with the group for many years.
