Concert Ticket: The Cure Original MINT Concert Ticket - 1981 Circus Tour Netherlands - Very Rare

In 1981 The Cure toured the Netherlands in a circus tent, which was taken down after each event and then set up the next day for the next show. These are legendary events in the early history of The Cure.

Printed on card, each show was screen-printed in two colours with a different top colour for each show. This one is for the concert at Arnhem on 23 June 1981. The ticket measures 120 x 80 mm. The rear of the ticket is white and blank apart from a rubber stamp: 01992.

This ticket is in new (unused) condition with no folds,creases, rips, pen marks or stains. The colours are not faded and are still vivid. There is a slight transfer of white from the rear of the ticket that was originally on top of it - this can occur with screenprints where the ink has not thoroughly dried before contact.

I followed the Picture tour through part of Germany and on to the Netherlands, and before I returned to the UK after the Rotterdam gig the promoter gave me a few spare tickets for shows that hadn't sold out, Amsterdam, Arnhem, Sittard, Vlissingen and Rotterdam. I am selling a set of five, listed individually - Rotterdam will follow at a later date for ebay reasons.
