If defined "very good condition" relative to the age of the piece, we would expect to see "character marks" consistent with the age and could include some nicks or dings on a piece of furniture or wood accessories, normal separation at joints in wood due to expansion and contraction over time these items may require some refinishing but are otherwise intact.
