CONDITION REPORT & PHOTO GALLERY
AUDIO:
EX/EXCELLENT(+); this has been play graded from start to finish. Both sides played through beautifully with a lovely bright audio. There is some light noise between tracks but this is common on old mono records played on modern equipment. Occasional light dust clicks and light static that you would find even on brand new records.

I have not attempted to clean this, but I am sure that the audio could improve further still if given a professional clean. Sounded absolutely fantastic throughout.

Interestingly, the track listing is quite different to the US pressings, both in the actual songs and song order. Please ask if you need details.

VINYL VISUAL:
EX/EXCELLENT(+); the vinyl retains a wonderful sheen. Just some very light paper scuffs/sleeve removal marks noticeable under very bright light and the odd very light hairline. One tiny superficial mark to side 1. Looks great.

LABELS:
NEAR MINT; just a small amount of spindle tracing. Both look great.

SLEEVE:
EXCELLENT; the sleeve is of the front laminated design whereby the laminate folds over the spine and onto the right hand side of the rear. It is a really nice example. Very clean to the front with just some light feathering wear to the opening edge. The rear is fine with some light age spots and a touch of ring wear. The spine is close to perfect. Looks lovely.

PAYMENT & CHECKOUT

Please remember that your bid is binding.

I reserve the right to cancel bids from buyers whose previous feedback ratings are poor.

GRADING

Unless otherwise stated, all of my records have been play tested before listing using a Rega P3-24 turntable with Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge & stylus. I describe honestly and accurately but please bear in mind that I am only human and such things are always subjective. I tend to grade records conservatively and believe that my feedback speaks for itself.

Please take confidence from the fact that I have been a collector myself for over 20 years (please check my feedback as a buyer) and know only too well how disappointing it is to receive an inaccurately described record.

I also grade visually using a strong halogen lamp.

I use the Record Collector grading system as shown below.

POSTAGE / SHIPPING

I post worldwide and pack all records in custom made (stiff) card mailers and add extra packaging inside to ensure a safe delivery. I will provide a protective polythene sleeve and the record and inner will be removed from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits in transit. I want your record to get to you in the condition that it was when it left me.

For any records that come with printed inner sleeves, I will also provide an additional plain inner.

As a general rule, shipping will be discounted ie. I lose money on the costs of buying my packaging. I do not profit from this; please remember that my costs are not simply those shown on the stamp!

Shipping rates quoted are valid up to a total sale value of £2500 within the UK and £500 for overseas buyers in the territories shown below:

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
