Vinyl: THE ANDREWS SISTERS - 1946 5-78 Decca Set - Their First Album! - TOP COPY EX!

Lovely copy of the very first ever album by the Andrews Sisters, their 1946 self-titled 5 78rpm album set on Decca A-458. Features their first big hit, Bei Mir Bist Dü Schoen from 1936, and newer songs like the rare Beat Me Daddy, a disc that is often missing from this set. All five discs are in excellent condition and play simply beautifully. There are some very light scuffs and minor surface marks on a couple of them, but not much at all. Purely superficial with no affect on the play. This is truly a beautiful sounding set. The cover has a bit of wear but still looks very nice. There is tape trough the center on the front (see photo), and the front cover has been taped at the spine, possibly detached. Not a bad taping job. Looks very nice still. The spine is still completely readable with no tears. There is also some general wear and aging, with some discoloration and some edge and corner wear. Also the record pockets have some seam splits, but not so much that the discs are falling out or anything. It isn't a perfect cover but really it looks quite nice as you can see. The discs sound just beautiful.
