Overall, the item looks like it is in fair shape. I would not know how to officially grade it, though, considering that I am unable to test it. The actual tape looks very tightly wound, except for the first 30 inches, or so.
The box does have some flaws - tears, marks, writing, etc. here and there.
If purchased, the buyer assumes the risk that this item will not work as intended.
