Vinyl: Guttermouth Teri Yakimoto LP Vinyl First Press Nitro Records
Guttermouth Teri Yakimoto LP Vinyl First Press Nitro Records.
It's Guttermouth from '96 and you know what you're going get. The album features a mix of punk rock and hardcore punk with humorous, sarcastic, and controversial lyrics, typical of Guttermouth's style.
One of the notable tracks on the album is "Teri Yakimoto," a fast-paced punk rock song that satirizes Japanese culture and stereotypes. The lyrics mock traditional Japanese customs, such as bowing and tea ceremonies, and make crude jokes about sushi and karate.
The song has been criticized for its racist and offensive content, particularly towards Japanese people. However, Guttermouth has defended the song, stating that it was meant to be satirical and that they are not a racist band, just a radically fundamental Christian band gone wrong and that this seller has seen seven times live, eight soon in May.
Jacket is fantastic for its age.
Vinyl is also brilliant, as is insert.
