This is the Rarest item I have ever owned. This is an original handbill, autographed by: Kiedis, Flea, Jack and Hillel Slovak RIP, who added: "Aaron Be Biblical"! My husband won this item many years ago on ebay. Here is the seller's description:
"Up for auction is an original poster advertising the Red Hot Chili Pepper's in-store appearance supporting their 1987 album Uplift Mofo Party Plan.
The in-store was at Phantasmagoria, an excellent independent record store in Wheaton, Maryland.
I was 16 years old, and a big RHCP fan.
This was signed to me by all four members, including the great Hillel Slovak, who of course would pass away only 8 months later.
Anthony drew a halo over his head, and inscribed "Don't Look Away"
Flea wrote a large "WHOOPEE!" and "WHEE!" and signed "FLEA" followed by a toothy grin drawing.
Jack wrote the briefest message - "Lard" and signed in blue ink.
Hillel wrote "Be Biblical" (perhaps in reference to my name Aaron, brother of Moses in the old testament)
The poster shows wear, consistent with being owned by a teenage fan. I had this on my wall for a long time, and the back corners shows blue-tack residue. The thin paper shows many tears on the edges, and some folds. The paper has also yellowed over time."
