Remastered CD/DVD doublepack. CD includes two previously unreleased bonus tracks.
DVD features the original album in 5.1 Surround Sound and Dolby Stereo, advanced resolution 96khz/24bit surround & stereo sound, a photo gallery, two bonus promo videos and Burning Down The House (Alternate 5.1 Mix) - a new mix created during the remastering sessions. In addition, both CD and DVD play the extended versions of "Making Flippy Floppy," "Girlfriend is Better," "Slippery People," "I Get Wild," and "Moon Rocks" originally featured on the original cassette and the 2nd CD edition.
• ALBUM:
"Speaking In Tongues" was originally issued as Sire #23771 [Special Edition] (2/9/83)/#23883 (6/1/83).
Tracks 2-5 & 7 are full-length CS/CD versions.
• BONUS TRACKS (CD Only):
- "Two Note Swivel" is a previously unissued outtake recorded during the Speaking In Tongues sessions.
- "Burning Down The House" (Alternate Version) is a rough mix featuring additional elements and a longer ending than the album version.
