Vinyl: URIAH HEEP - SALISBURY - UK - 1st PRESS - SWIRL

IMPORTANT NOTE: I have been a buyer of vinyl records on Ebay and elsewhere online for quite some time so I know well all pain and frustration the buyers get due to incorrect or misleading descriptions of records provided by some sellers (even 100 % positive - my experience) that unfortunately becomes an increasing problem on Ebay. So my description is made from a buyer`s and not from a seller`s standpoint. My goal is to sell and make purchase pleasant to a buyer otherwise why buy music.

This is an original 1971 UK STEREO 1st PRESSING on the VERTIGO SWIRL label complete with the polylined SWIRL inner sleeve that is in EX- condition showing age yellowing.

The sleeve is in EX condition with overall wear (see pictures) having no creases. I have tried to expose most of the flaws. The spine is showing no major wear and very little scuffing. It is fully readable. There is a damage to the upper right cover front caused by removal of the sticker. The back cover has general wear. The inside of gatefold looks much better and is rather EX+ . All the corners and the edges also have little general wear. No splits or any other serious defects. Overall this is a pretty much well kept example of the sleeve amongst the most of circulating in the market. It may well stay in someone`s collection until a better copy is found.

The vinyl is visually in strong EX condition having surface fine markes and scuffs but nothing serious or deep. I have played it in full prior to listing and overall playback is with NO jumps, skips, pops BUT with background noise mainly heard in quieter places. Playgrade is EX+.

The SWIRL labels are in EX+ condition - see pictures. There are some traces around the spindle hole on the white label but to see them you need to put it under the bright light in an angled postition.

This is a truly collectable 1st press copy of Uriah Heep`s outstanding album on a sought after SWIRL label that is undoubtedly a good investment

Grading is based on the Record Collectors Grading System.

PACKAGING

LPs are packaged in a manner to ensure safe traveling using stiffeners and professional envelopes to ensure safe arrival in the same condition as they leave. Records are removed from the sleeve in order to prevent seam splits in transit.
