In February / March 1970, Elvis Presley headlined the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo at the Houston Astrodome, performing six shows from February 27 to March 1. These historic performances marked his first live shows outside of Las Vegas since 1961 and set record-breaking attendance figures exceeding 200,000 fans.
