Flyer/Handbill: Weird Al Yankovic, VERY RARE mini-poster featuring Al and his late parents!

Weird Al Yankovic is a household name overall, one of the best musical parodists of all time and successful beyond any expectations thanks to wickedly funny songs like "Eat It" and "Like a Surgeon." But not everyone knows that Al endured the tragic death of his parents just as he was reaching a new level of success professionally. Nick and Mary Yankovic were found dead in their home in April 2004 from carbon monoxide poisoning. This was surely a horrendous and life-changing event for Al, and it makes this particular item we are offering especially poignant. While still alive, Al and his parents did a promotional shoot for the Sam Goody music chain, back when such things were deemed good commercial ideas. The 9x12 mini poster says "Best Wishes From the Yankovics!" and has the first name of Al and his parents scrawled on the pic. Al has his trademark accordion in his hands. It's a lovely image, and quite hard to fathom in light of the tragedy that was soon to take place. We are auctioning this item for a friend, who has made it clear there are NOT a lot of these posters around. Its authenticity is guaranteed, and it's in fantastic condition.
