Up for auction is a nice copy of the 1987 Wire Album The Ideal Copy. This item, like all factory DAT tapes is rare and very difficult to find, especially in the original packaging.
The top cellophane is partially open from shelf wear and the bottom cellophane is partially separated so that the tape could be removed. There is some discoloration to the cellophane and to the box. It rates VG+ overall.
The DAT rates VG+ as the label in the front is slightly discolored from age. The tape case has a small crack along the back-top edge about 1/3 inch long. It was probably dropped at some point.
The recording sounded excellent on my Sony TCD-7.
