VIDEOS OR JUMPS FROM ONE LETTER TO ANOTHER AS WELL AS

THE 12 HOUR REWINDS AND OTHER ISSUES LIKE CHANGES WITHOUT

NOTIFICATION MOST OF THE TIME.

THESE ARE ONE PASS RECORD and were not viewed until now. So they are basically ONE PASS RECORD and ONE PASS VIEW in perfect condition after two decades!

MTV 2 recorded in the year 2000 MTV2 MUSIC VIDEOS HiFi Stereo Tape plays back crystal clear on both my HiFi Stereo VCR and SVHS VCR.

Do an internet search on your favorite search engine for; Playlist Archives MTV2 marathon 2000 A to Z .................. then chose (Listed By Video Title) and you can scroll up and down to the letter and see the list by letter just like the example I have posted for this VHS. In your internet searches, you will see the list of songs.

I will post the first complete song and the last complete song or music video on the tape in the first two pictures of each posting followed by the third picture that will be the physical tape being sold.

TAPE IS NTSC, NORTH AMERICAN SYSTEM, AND WILL PLAY ON NTSC SYSTEM ONLY

NOTE : These VJ's on MTV2 worked in Radio Stations and MTV , they were not journalists and the more I view these tapes the more silly errors I see because it seems that they did not pay attention to their inventory nor the alphabetical order of the videos . Then the crew manning the tapes sometimes put the master tape from the record company with no titles , to rarely a generated substandard copy , and even ones with titles super imposed over titles . Plus the internet list is not correct and when it comes to that internet list , depending on it being the first 12 hours or the repeat of the 12 prior hours done 12 hours later , you may get no warning or a total error on their part at MTV2 . Then there are videos shown with no titles at all or only titles at the beginning or end of the video . One thing that is very good about this specific broadcast is you see the real beginning on many if not all videos that on the MTV versions seemed to have been cut to save time . Another great thing about A to Z Marathon is you will see some vintage videos that were done decades before MTV on primitive Video formats or Film as well as the never shown or shown only once video . Still , it was a great effort and the videos are great .

I've spent a considerable amount of money moving the collection with rental trucks, warehousing these videos in AIR-CONDITIONED UNITS then storing them in three houses taking up valuable space in rooms that could have been rented. All tapes are one pass record and one pass check. Please see the screenshots. The first three pictures will be the first and last complete music videos and the third picture is the physical tape. MTV2 Showed 99.999 percent of all the videos they had for months in the year 2000 starting in January with 12-hour slots then hey repeated the previous 12 hours. Rarely did they have issues but one time they had dead air for a few minutes and other times the video did not have titles. Then a few times they had titles superimposed above the titles. here were only a few videos that were not broadcasted. A list of those videos is available online. There is great content on this tape. The back story about my A to Z videotape collection is I had two systems going at two houses all on timers in 5 to 8-foot MARKERTECH Racks with shelves. There were units running at my parent's place. I was running there off a 12-foot C'Ku satellite to a series of composite video distribution boxes to over 25 recorders all on time to start the next tape 10 before the tape rinning would finish. I had two of each running at all times connected to battery backup and the house had an automatic standby generator. At my Townhouse, I had the same system but with a 10 foot C/Ku satellite system, the battery backups but no standby generator. All I had to do was feed the recorders and turn them off. I eventually added a DTVSAT with an aftermarket 3-foot dish so there would be no signal loss in bad weather. Once a recorder spits out tape the recording had finished and a new blank tape needed to be inserted in the VCR and the VCR turned off to be ready with the timer. This is how I made it through 3 and a half months of taping MTV2 A to Z.
