Poster: The Eagles, One of These Nights, Double Sized, Two Sided Promo Poster, Rare Cool

The artwork on this poster is fantastic! The poster is a promo for The Eagles album, One of these Nights, released on David Geffen’s Asylum Records in 1975. and depicts the album cover in all its glory! Really cool artwork (see pics).

The song was released in May, 1975, followed by the album of the same name a month later, and by July, the song had become The Eagles second #1 single and the song of that summer! The album also reached #1, the first Eagles album to achieve that status, setting the stage for Hotel California to follow!

The album also featured two other Eagles’ megahits, Lyin’ Eyes and Take it to the Limit.

I got this in 1976 and it was already framed, and I’ve never removed it, so imagine my surprise when I recently found out that this is actually a two sided poster! The other side has thumbnails of the Take it Easy, Desperado, and On the Border album covers underneath the band and record name, with a pretty good band photo underneath!

It was framed when I got it, and I’ve never removed it from the frame, but I understand that the poster was produced on card stock or similar heavier stock. It measures 24” x 24”.

It was difficult to get a good picture because the glass in the frame was reflecting the room, so I used a stock photo of the album cover, along with 2 pics of the actual poster that I have. I used the stock photo so you could see the image clearly. The poster is identical, except that it’s twice the size, and it’s 2 sided.

Poster will be removed from the frame for shipping, but will probably have to be shipped flat, because of the heavier duty paper.

From what I’ve been told, this is a very rare and hard to find poster!
