Poster: PINK FLOYD – mega rare vintage original 1971 EMI Odeon promo poster RANDOLPH

Extremely rare and highly collectible original first printing Pink Floyd promotional poster issued by EMI Odeon in Japan in 1971, presumably. The poster features a striking photo of the band on Wimbledon Common in London, circa February 1971. The photo is by Windsor-born portrait photographer Michael Randolph who is best-known to have captured many musicians from the Swinging 60's, and 70's. Among his friends in his youth were rising stars like the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and The Doors - to name a few. T he poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available. Never seen another one of these!

The poster measures 59.7 x 59.7 cm (approx. 23.5" by 23.5" inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, smooth-finish uncoated paper stock.
