White Stripes - Elephant double promo LP

First pressing. Different sleeve.
Includes press release / reaction sheet, sent to me with album. I was a DJ on a radio station, and the reaction sheet was the usual record company practice.

I have classified this as 'Used' and 'Excellent+' rather than 'New' and 'Mint'.
This is because I played it once to appraise it and give a reaction, back in 2003.
Since then it's been stored in a protective plastic sleeve.
I've also cleaned it, on the turntable, so there may be one or possibly two spindle marks.

(I still think that Girl, You Have No Faith In Medicine is the best thing they did.)

Format: DOUBLE 12" vinyl LP (album)
Label: XL
Date: 2003
Catalogue number: XLLP 162
Condition (disc): Excellent+
Condition (sleeve): Excellent
Visual grade: Superb condition. Looks unplayed.

I use high quality rigid cardboard mailers.

Tracks:
A1 Seven Nation Army 3:51
A2 Black Math 3:03
A3 There's No Home For You Here 3:43

B1 I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself 2:46
B2 In The Cold, Cold Night 2:58

I use the Record Collector definitions of quality:
  • MINT. The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
  • EXCELLENT. The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
  • VERY GOOD. The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
  • GOOD. The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
