This is a very rare original concert flyer for a Nirvana performance on January -18-1991. I obtained this flyer directly from Michael Dees who performed in that show with his band "Fitz of Depression." This flyer was part of his personal collection. Michael Dees can de seen in the "Montage of Heck" movie in a scene where he and Kurt Cobain are on stage winding cables. Mr. Dees sold this and some other items that were personally owned by Kurt Cobain.
If I recall directly, Mr Dees had one or two other copies of this flyer that were on different color paper. To say the least, this flyer is of the upmost rarity and it is doubtful you will ever have a change to obtain one of these again, certainly not with the quality provenance that comes with this one. This sales includes the original flyer and a handwritten notarized letter from Michael Dees attesting to the authenticity of the flyer. It also comes with a smaller handbill from a contemporary show with the Melvins, Mudhoney, and Fitz of Depression.
It is in excellent condition having been in storage for the past 25 years. The paper itself shows a very tiny amount of toning which is to be expected given it's age. I unconditionally guarantee this flyer to be original and authentic and is the very one that I received from Michael Dees.
