CONDITION: E EXCELLENT condition a 1953 BLACK GOSPEL issue featuring Black Gospel queen SISTER JESSE MAE RENFRO on "I'VE HAD MY CHANCE" and on the flip side it is "I WANNA BE THERE" on PEACOCK 1732 a 10" 78 rpm original record - please see photos for overall condition - Old Time gospel great Sister Jessie Mae Renfro was an evangelist and a gospel singer born in Waxahachie, Texas in October 3, 1921. She performed for over 52 years and was one of the last traditional gospel singers to pass. She organized her first group, “City Wide A Capella Choir,” and traveled throughout the state of Texas when she recorded several songs, including “I’ve Had My Chance."
This record will be securely packed in a new 12x12x4 box sandwiched between cardboard stiffeners and floating in a paper fill.
