About this item - These are among the very best performances of Shostakovich's Symphonies in stunning sound. Oleg Caetani is the son of famed conductor Igor Markevitch and they shared the trait of really capturing the live spirit of the music they conducted.

These are hybrid SACDs and will play in regular CD players and SACD players. SACD layer is both stereo and multichannel.

Condition - outer slip case has lots of wear including some tears (pictured). All SACDs are sealed except for the disc with Symphony 7 which was only played once.

About me - I've been a vinyl/CD/SACD collector and audiophile for decades.
