Thanks for taking a look at my auction. Up for sale is a Elvis Costello Reel To Reel Tape . I have a reel-to-reel deck so I have tested all of the pre-recorded tapes I sell.
Why take a chance on a tape that someone is selling that they have not played, have you ever purchased a tape that had dead spots, other music recorded on it, 20 second drop-outs, squeak? I have spent 12 years collecting reel-to-reel tapes and store my tapes the way they should be stored, have played each tape just before listing it on eBay, so I know if there are any issues (which will be listed). When you purchase from me you will know that the tape you are purchasing is going to play, sound great (as only reel-to-reel tapes can). I will take any tape back if you have any problems.

Tape Condition • EX • The tape really sounds really good no shed, drop-outs, tape stretch, oxide shed, etc.
About My Tapes
I have been collecting Reel-To-Reel tapes for 12 years, I have weeded out the bad tapes, the tapes that have other music recorded on them half way through, tapes that shed oxide like a dog sheds hair. squeak like a squirrel.
Every tape is tested on my Technics 1506 Reel to reel tape deck (See Picture). I listen to the entire tape, both sides so I know that the tape plays back the way it was intended to.
Mint (M) • New and still sealed
NM • Tape handled with extreme care, like Mint except that it has been opened
EX • No issues, no drop-outs no shedding, ends of the tape are in good condition
VG+ • Might have one or two very short 1 second or less drop-outs.
VG • Might have one or two short 2 to 3 second drop-outs
VG- • Might have a couple drop-outs on each side of tape
Mint (M) • New and still sealed
NM • Box has been opened, but other than missing shrink it is perfect.
EX • Box is close to like new with maybe a very slight wear
VG+ • Box is in very good condition some light wear on the front and back covers, might have some wear on the seams or a very slight split seam. The spine will be readable and have no splits.
VG • Box is in good condition, some wear on the front and back covers, there is most likely some wear on the seams, but the spine is readable.
VG- • Box has wear on both the front and back covers. There will be wear on the seams, parts of the spine will may be unreadable.
Why am I selling? Well my wife and me have decided to downsize our life since our kids are grown and it is time to let some of the stuff I have collected over the years go and since the tape takes up a lot of space and weigh a ton it is the first to go.

• For international (Except Canada) shipping via International 1st Class I charge a flat rate of $17.50 per tape. You can combine shipping for each additional tape it is 2.50. If you purchase multiple items please wait until I send you an invoice before paying.
• For Canadian buyers the cost for International 1st Class is $12.50 for a single tape and $1.50 for each additional tape
• I include in the shipping cost insurance for your purchase and tracking confirmation.
• If you purchase multiple items please don't pay for your purchase until I send you an invoice so I can make sure the shipping is correct.
• Local pickup is available in Pleasant Hill, CA
• I am happy to ship overseas, but please don't ask me to declare a value for customs different then the purchase price. The value on the customs form will be what you paid for the item, no more and no less
