Cassette: AC/DC Albert Cassette Box Set Aust/NZ 1989 RARE EXC

AC/DC Albert Cassette Box Set Aust/NZ only 1989 release 4659214 RARE EXC. Here we have the very rare now, 1989 genuine Albert Productions release of the first 6 AC/DC albums on cassette tapes, complete with orig artwork liners & orig clear cassettes in their clear cases, all housed in the very limited large LP sized hard plastic shell case with liner. Tapes are all NM cond having been test played only, the liners are all in EXC with some minimal handling marks & clear cases all in EXC. This set was sourced decades ago from a now long closed NZ music store. It was used as an on display item in store where customers could look & handle on request for the purpose of buying or ordering depending on stock & comes complete with Hype Sticker on front of case. These LP sized sets were not popular though at release time in the late 80s as they were too large for use outside the home & were often overlooked for the same smaller set where all 6 cassettes were stacked on top of each other in a simple small open ended cardboard box no bigger than the 6 stacked cassettes. This configuration sold well & many copies are still available in different degrees of quality today. However the maligned LP sized case is now highly sought after & very few ever come up for sale. Discogs one of the more better known music trading sites has never sold a copy of this set. Cassettes themselves have not been tested now as I do not own a tape player any more, but all worked perfect when tested last 5+ years ago.
