I caught the "concert going" bug when I started going to concerts in Detroit in the late 70's with my father, who was just starting his 40+ year career in the music business. Then in the early 80's, my old man helped get me the job of a lifetime, at Tower Records Sunset. Which lasted over 20 yrs and that "concert going" bug just got bigger.
