Phono Cylinder: Pathé Salon 565 Maurice Vallade 'Les Cloches de Corneville' (Planquette) VGC OBL

Offered here a Pathé Salon cylinder of 'Les Cloches de Corneville' (Planquette) sung by Maurice Vallade, cyinder no. 565.

Untested (I don't have a Salon cylinder player) but looks excellent, no blown grooves, cracks, chips and only slight mould. From the collection of a long-time record and cylinder collector who looked after everything extremely well and rarely kept copies that didn't play well unless they were extreme rarities. The box and lid are the original Pathé ones with the cylinder number stamped on the base that have clearly housed this cylinder since the time of it's origin and is very attractive but a little worn; please note there's also a hand-written label on the lid, which could be removed if desired. I believe it's the case that during some periods, it was quite normal for Pathe cylinders boxes to have just the catalogue number stamped on the base like this, with no other labelling.
