1989 getting very scarce UK glossy cover 12" limited edition interview LP being interview buy a "Brit" around 1985 (Raindogs era ) loud restaurant or a bar (not as bad as those awful Ian Curtis Joy Division interviews where I waited 25+ years to hear them (basically read transcripts of them in the end!) (BAKTABAK RECORDS LONDON LIMITED EDITION BAK 2141) this label only did vinyl for another year or two back then if I recall.
Thanks to Tom blowing out his voice in the mid 70's (those early Asylum albums he sounds like he could have joined the Eagles back then, smooth voice same label, backup singer?) smokes & poverty turned him into a modern day Charles Bukowski whether he wanted it or now (he didn't really, funny this interview starts with him claiming that it is an unfair proclamation for him actually) but sure helped his career between that & the whole beatnik thing & what not & makes his voice nice & bassy & you can hear the whole interview ok.
This was my personal vinyl copy here & I just put it on for the first time since buying it from a cutout wholesaler back around 1994, looks like lots of small heat warps all over both sides but actually plays fine (literally 2 pieces put together with a paper in-between so it can go iffy sometimes), occasionally one audio channel will go out for a second but that is about it (looks VG- plays VG+). I personally put my Pink Floyd picture discs on my hallway hall & they look great & this one would also (with or without a frame) I tried to get pics to show off the "light waves" the background, actual background pics are excellent.

CONDITION: The cover is near mint, record is VG to VG+ up close you can see heat warps on both sides a bit (below the car where WAITS is on the back) just the way two pieces of clear plastic mash up against a paper insert). Amazingly plays great overall, every once in a while one audio channel may go out (need a new cartridge probably) but not a defective pressing in the end, this one is very scarce very later number also at 2141, last empty spot on the first batch of numbers in the middle is blank for the title on this last one!).
All records are BLACK VINYL unless noted & inserts/gatefold covers/posters/custom inner sleeves will be noted in the description if they are included plus promo & cut-out marks stated if they are there also. I don't believe in hiding stuff & try to note most everything that should matter to buyers. All 12" vinyl on ebay is automatically listed as 33 1/3 rpm & 7" vinyl as 45 rpm (to save time on listing all this stuff) if you need to confirm speed on a specific item please ask & I can go check.
