Great minimalist promo poster for in-store display supporting the UK release and tour of Soldier the fourth studio album by American rock singer Iggy Pop. It was released in February 1980 by record label Arista. This has a great image of Iggy taken at the same photo shoot that the album cover photo came from. It has copyright to James Osterberg at the bottom left (Iggy Pop's real name), and UK 80 on the right.
Iggy came to the Virgin Records store I worked at in London to promote his albums release and brought this poster with him. He was a really nice guy, easy to talk with.
This is a very rare poster and in OK condition given its age and scarcity. Its on glossy paper stock and measures 30 by 20 inches.
