DVD: Neil Young Archives, Vol. 1: 1963-1972 – DVD audio: rare!

The 10-disc set –now long out of print– includes 137 songs, all in glorious DVD audio (24-bit/96 kHz stereo PCM track).

It also includes a DVD of Young’s film “Journey Through the Past”, which was only available through the DVD and Blu-Ray releases of Archives, Vol. I.

The DVD version of this set is extremely hard to come by.

The box set is in exceptional condition, with two exceptions: on the outer box, there are bumps/scuffs on two of the top corners, and a small nick on the lower part of one side (see pictures). Otherwise, the set is in like-new condition.

The box includes some awesome extras, including a 236-page, full-color hardbound book. a timeline poster showing when each song was recorded, and a promotional notepad. (The pad and the "Sugar Mountain" DVD/CD are included in a "hidden" compartment, along with an expired download card; it's not so hard to find)
