My cousin was studying in Manchester in the late 1970s and befriended some of the Manchester bands of the time. As he spent so much time in the Appollo, he got to know the Head of Security (Sarge) and spent a lot of time backstage, helping out and taking some great photos of the bands. As I was too young to be going to the gigs, he got a few tour programmes signed for me as a present. I have held onto them for 40 years before realising they might be quite valuable - to fans of Ritchie Blackmore and Cozy Powell particularly.
