Welcome to our collectibles site! We are a 30-year family-owned business, offering authentic memorabilia, and the best packaging and shipping in the business!

Our customers are REPEAT customers, because of the relationships we establish, the extra mile we go in tracking down fine collectibles, and the way we make them feel like family. Thanks for being part of our family!

This could be one of the coolest items we've had for auction in a long time - a signed calendar page by the one and only legend of the Crickets, Buddy Holly. Signed in Bic on 1/26/58, it is a HUGE signature, and obtained in New York while Holly's group were at Bell Sound Studios and due on Ed Sullivan Sunday night TV showcase. ALSO included is a separate signed display by Ed Sullivan, matted and framed.

There lots of great information and background on these pieces! The Crickets had spent the weekend doing demos for "Rave On", their future hit, and although many of their recordings were done exclusively at the Norman Petty studios in New Mexico, this particular cut was done during their TV appearance weekend. The band spent the late hours of the night recording.

The autograph was obtained by Milton DeLugg, who produced this session, and worked with our uncle during his Tonight Show days in the 60's. (DeLugg was musical director there for a bit). The signature was given to us after his passing just a few years ago.

The wonderful story around this TV appearance is that Holly wanted to sing his current hit "Oh Boy!", but Sullivan wasn't feeling it. Anyone who knew Sullivan, knew that you didn't want to cross him, for fear of the repercussions. However, Holly insisted, and Ed was so p'ed off, he intentionally mispronounced his name during the show, and legend has it he actually tried to sabotage the sound quality of Holly's guitar.

Holly ended up turning down a potential third appearance on the show, and would unfortunately lose his life mere months later.

The signature, quite simply, is awesome, and the real deal. Big and bold on a page. The Sullivan display contains a matted photo and signature in light blue Bic. (the Sullivan signature is from the 60's). We wanted to auction these both together to give the winner bidder a chance to personalize it in the way they would like. You might choose to leave the Sullivan as/is, and mat Holly's in a frame to go side-by-side. OR, you might choose to remove the Sullivan from its display, and use your own Sullivan/Holly photo to double mat in it's own frame. Those are just a few of several wonderful possibilities!

This is a golden opportunity to grab a piece of rock and roll history for yourself.
