• *SUPER RARE* to my knowledge never seen on the market before, extremely early CD, custom made by Philips, a true collectors piece, literally, a piece of CD history!
• Philips UK CD Launch Music CD - this came from a former British employee at Philips who did all of the music at the UK Launch Party for the CD - London, 24 / 2 / 1983
• Custom made 4 track CD
• Hand written Stamper Number: 4738 / 1-0-0, Disc Number 3
• Red Face CD. Made by N.V. Philips, Eindhoven

• Stamped in the Matrix: CD LAUNCH UK 24-2-83 01
• 3 tracks of 1980's style synthesizer classical / jazz and the vocal jingle sales music for the CD disc - please watch the video in the photo above, I have recorded 1 minute of this CD jingle which I presume was written especially for the CD Launch - very 1980's!
• CD is VG+ to VG, quite a few light scratches, but these are mainly in the 'mirror band' area on the outer area of the disc. Fully play tested, sounds great
• No booklet present, backing card is a Decca Stanley Back CD backing panel
• Original 'Patent Pending' Smooth Edge case is VG, some light scratches
